Ronen through Chess history: Chess Olympiad 2014 - RECAP

Opening: :

Player(s):

This week Ronen recaps for us the Chess Olympiad just finished in Tromso, Norway. The PGN dataebase you can download contains the most important and decisive games played in Tromso: the Chinese win over the France team, which bascially gave them to gold; Kramnik missing a win against Wang Yue, and a golden opportunity for the Russian to beat China; Carlsen losses; Kramnik - Topalov always has fire; Karjakin shocking loss to Yotov, costing Russia the victory against Bulgaria; Nakamura's last round loss against Mamedayrov, costing the US men team a spot in the world championship.

But we did not forget the pretty side of chess and have added several of the key games in the women section: Lagno beating Hou Yifan, Gunina miracles, and more!
