A-STORM

***** A-Storm *****

On the first Friday of each month, at 7pm ET (ICC time) FIDE Master S.
Dorobanov (A-Storm) gives a free lecture for intermediate players. After a
short announcement A-Storm will open a game board in examine mode, which you
need to follow with the command "follow A-Storm". Turning off your seeking
ads (set seek 0) is recommended in order to easily follow text, it reduces
screen rolling. You can always turn on your seek variable later (set seek 1).
Your kibitz variable should be set to 1 (set kib 1) in order to see all
commentary, or set to 2 if you want to see only A-Storm's comments and
possibly those of other titled players. However, at the end of each lecture
A-Storm will be answering various questions on the topic, which suggests
kib=1. The topics vary each month, but the level of explanations remains
most beneficial to intermediate players (the range of 1300-1900 or so). The
lecture lasts approximately 1 hour, depending on the number of questions at
the end. For information on each new lecture, type "finger A-Storm". You are
not required to purchase any chekels for this lecture.
