I spent 30 minutes trying to link my USCF ID to my account to play in a rated event. Every time I would enter my pin and ID number, it would just refresh the page and the console tells me “uscf can’t find your uscfid on file USCFDB:No uscf id on file
> No USCFID on file for you. USCFDB: not linked to icc” Even though I submitted it. Please help.

Thanks for posting about this issue.  Your ID was associated with another username, so we’ve unliked the ID and linked it to the new username.  You’re good to go!  We chatted online and you’re in the current tournament, so all looks well now.  Good luck!

  I am sorry you are having this problem.  Linking your USCF ID is not an ICC Requirement but is required by the USCF to prevent someone from using another players identification.

  We can help you when a USCF TD is on ICC but you can also do it yourself by following these instructions:

    Link my Account using the ICC linking page:
  https://register.chessclub.com/uscf-tie

  You can also link your number on the USCF website without the ICC hyperlink by going directly to your USCF profile.  Just go to the USCF website and follow these instructions:
 
  Login to your account on the USCF website:
  https://new.uschess.org/login

- Once logged in, you will be on your US Chess account - You MAY need to click on the My Dashboard tab at the top right of the page in order to get to your dashboard.
  Select: MANAGE MY PROFILE
  Scroll down the page until you see Online Chess Partners
  Select: ICC/chessclub from the pull-down menu and then enter your ICC username.
  Scroll to the Bottom of the Page and click: Submit
