Today is the birthday of International Master Tamas Horvath, born in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary, on October 23, 1951.
Tamas is the first of many "Horvath" to gain the International Master title, which he obtained in 1979.
Horvath represented Hungary in a European Championship, winning an individual bronze medal.
Tamas's peak rating was 2475 Elo points, reached in January 1994.
In his career, Horvath defeated many strong GMs, such as Romanishin, Zelcic, Hulak, and Cebalo.
The following combination is highly spectacular.
