Grand Chess Tour - Croatia 2023

The third tournament of the 2023 Grand Chess Tournament is being held in Zagreb, Croatia. It takes place from July 5 to 9, 2023.
It is a Rapid and Blitz event, with some of the best players in the world once again forced to show all their prowess under time pressure.

The format is three days of Rapid play, with three games per day (Round Robin), and then two days of Blitz play, with nine games per day (Double Round Robin).
With super-strong players like Carlsen, Nepomniachtchi, Caruana, Duda, and the great Anand, this event promises to be one of the best of the year.

The first tournament of the 2023 CGT was won by Fabiano Caruana in Romania, with classic time control.
The second event, held in Poland, was won quite exciting and daringly by former World Champion Magnus Carlsen. Magnus showed who's the boss in the Blitz portion of the event.
