Does anybody else than me have sound problems in BlitzIn after one of the latest Windows 10 updates ?

type the following in console: set bell 1

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have already tried that - it does not help.
This is a Windows 10 issue, I know that for sure, because the sound is fine in Windows 7

My computers updated last night, and I am having problems with the sound in Blitzin, too.
I’ll investigate the issue and post here if I find a fix.

I really hope you find a solution to this sound problem.
I have found a temporary solution:
when I run ZDoom with good old Doom2 from 1994 in the background, THEN the sound is fine in BlitzIn (in Windows 10)

I used BlitzIn with Win10, had similar problem, no board sounds while playing. I sorted out as previously told;

Settings>Sounds
Sound checkbox is ticked
System bell checkbox is unticked
Ring bell?  is ‘On any move’

and now I have sounds.

It now seems that MicroSoft has resolved the sound issue with BlitzIn
The sound works fine now on both my Windows 10 computers.
