Every Russian Schoolboy Knows: Typical mistakes in early middlegame - Part 2

Opening: B06, D37:

Player(s): Robson, Shabalov, Giri, Radjabov

There's a number of ways your game can go wrong, and among them a very common one is the failure to connect the opening with the middlegame.
Everybody likes to push their central pawns forward, driving the opponent's pieces away and obtaining a spatial advantage. This strategy, however, requires, a careful handling, as the pieces must quickly follow the pawns to fill the space behind them. Otherwise, it could be the enemy pieces getting around and behind your advanced pawns. Video #2 shows how badly things may turn out if such counterplay is allowed.
