FIDE Grand Prix and Aeroflot OpenThe first FIDE Grand Prix was played in Sharjah, UAE. It was a strange tournament, with a number of draws and very few decisive games. Chess experts and aficionados are discussing about the new format, that is a SWISS pairing system instead of a Round Robin. GM Joel takes us through some of the most interesting games of the event, and then moves on to show us a couple of very nice games from the Aeroflot Open.
