Game Of the Week!

Kasparov vs. Short - 2015 Friendly match in St. Louis

Two legendary figures reprised their match from 1993. The World Championship was not on the line this time, but plenty of eyes were focused on Garry Kasparov as he made a rare foray into competitive chess since his retirement a decade ago. But in the two rapid games, Nigel hung in there more effectively. In the very first game he absorbed some blows but kept on defending. Let's take a look at that game between the greatest players of my generation.
