Improve Your Chess: Center Counter Counterattack

Opening: B01: Center Counter Game

Player(s):

Today's show: White plays the book idea of h3-g4 vs an early ...Bg4 and gets a good game. He then goes for some complications which backfire, but Black misses a big chance and goes into an even endgame. Black, the higher rated player, slowly and nicely outplays White in the endgame and, with a couple of back and forth missed opportunities, wraps up the full point.
