In the 8th video of the series on the Sicilian Dragon, GM Marian Petrov shows us a line that has become popular in recent years. The line is part of the mainline in the Yugoslav Attack: after 1.e4 c5, 2.Nf3 d6, 3.d4 cxd4, 4.Nxd4 Nf6, 5.Nc3 g6, 6.Be3 Bg7, 7.f3 Nc6, 8.Bc4 0-0, 9.Qd2 Bd7, 10.0-0-0, now black plays Rb8 instead of Rc8, that you have studied in the previous video. The idea behind this rook move is to quickly play b5, and even to launch an early attack on the queenside. White has several possibilities to continue the game after 10...Rb8. GM Marian, in this video, shows us how black should play to keep the pressure going, in a flurry of tactical shots!
