FIDE GP Tashkent 2014 - Round 4

Opening: D31, E15: QGD, Queen's Indian: Nimzovich variation

Player(s): Mamedyarov, Nakamura, Vachier-Lagrave, Karjakin

Im Michael Rahal recaps Round 4. Six draws today, in what we can call an uneventful round, standings-wise. But there were a couple of interesting games, which IM Rahal shows us in his video recap: Mamedyarov vs. Nakamura and Vachier-Lagrave vs. Karjakin. After 4 rounds, and going into the first rest day, MLV is in the lead with 3.0/4, followed by the strong trio with Nakamura, Karjakin and Andreikin, half a point behind.

This is a 5 minute preview.
