Don’t try this at home! - Vienna Game: 1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 - Beware of the Traps!

Opening: C25: Vienna Game

Player(s):

The Vienna game - 1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 - is a fascinating opening, much less common than 3. Nf3, and has been studied thoroughly, namely by GM Nick De Firmian, in his famous book "Modern Chess Opening". In this episode of his show, GM Ronen "Indiana-Jones" Har-Zvi guides us through the donots of this opening, that can hide a lot of naughty tricks, gambits and tactical motifs. The Vienna game could well be a quite surprising weapon for you to use in your games!

This is a 5 minute preview.
