The Caro-Kann is one of the most important openings ever. We all know that it was one of the favorite piece of chess theory of the 12th World Champion, the super.strong Anatoly Karpov. The Caro-Kann is still a popular opening, either at club level and among top players. In this episode of his weekly show, Ronen shows us the dynamics that every chess players should know, to avoid the feared "do-nots" which can lead to early defeat. Particularly interesting the last example in the video: a game played many years ago, that shows how careful we should be, when playing chess!
