MENUSPEAK

***** MenuSpeak ***** 

MenuSpeak is online chat protection (_ideal for children_, 
allowing only pre-established canned phrases to and from the account.

When MenuSpeak is enabled, a special dropdown menu is enabled on the game board 
(_currently Dasher and ICC for Mac/Windows only_) to select a phrase from a predefined 
list.  Users who have MenuSpeak enabled currently can chat in select channels, 
like the official help channel.

You can toggle chat protection (MenuSpeak) on and off from your account management page here:

You will need to set a password when turning MenuSpeak on.  This ensures that only 
the person who turned this feature on will be able to turn it off by typing in the 
parental password.  Please write this password down!  If you forget it, please contact support@chessclub.com and we'll be happy to guide you through the parental password
recovery process.

If your client does not support MenuSpeak, you can upgrade to a client that supports
MenuSpeak or you can use the MenuSpeak system from the command line. 

The MenuSpeak commands are:

phrasesay - talk to opponent   
phrasetell - tell to specified user
phraseptell - talk to bughouse partner

These are used with the pre-defined phrase lists. The lists and example usage are below.

1: Playing an opponent    
   (1) : Hi.
   (2) : Good luck!
   (3) : This is fun!
   (4) : Your turn.
   (5) : Woops!
   (6) : Mouse slip :(
   (7) : It's not looking good, is it?
   (8) : I've got you now!
   (9) : Another game after this?

Example: "/phrasesay 1 2"  //  Good luck!

3: After a game with your last opponent    
   (1) : Good game!
   (2) : Thanks for the game.
   (3) : Would you like to play again?
   (4) : Challenge me.
   (5) : Yes.
   (6) : No.
   (7) : Another time.
