GAMES2

***** GAMES2 *****

You can shorten the "games" list by specify which games you would
like to see. With hundreds of games being played a time, this is
recommended! You can also specify the sorting order of games shown
to you in the games list.

There are "sorting parameters" that determine the order, and "selection
parameters" that determine which games are shown to you. You type
"games *..." where the "..." are your list of chosen parameters.
Remember the * (star). See the examples at the end.

Selection parameters:
   b -- blitz games
   B -- bullet games
   s -- standard games
   o -- 1-minute games
   M -- 3-minute games
   f -- 5-minute games
   P -- 15-minute games
   J -- computer-pool games
   K -- 960-pool games
   w -- wild games
   L -- Losers chess games (w17 or w26)
   d -- bughouse games
   z -- crazyhouse games
   r -- rated games
   e -- examined games
T -- games in which at least one player is titled
C -- games in which at least one player is a computer

You can put "-" in front of any of them to reverse it. The games
selection also allows the numerical selection (just like who). So you
can say "games *19" to get the top 1/9th of the games. Just as in
who, "games *1" gives the top third, "games *2" the middle third, etc.

Sorting parameters:
   t -- titled
   F -- fast games first
   S -- slow games first
   R -- high rated first

Examined games always come after played games no matter what sorting
parameters you choose. If you give more than one sorting parameter,
the extra ones are used to break ties. If you give no sorting
parameters, the default is "tRS".

Examples:
"games *T" -- list only games with titled players.
"games *b-C" -- list only blitz games, and no computer games.
"games *Sr" -- list only rated games, and sort them with slowest on top.
"games *-B-d" -- list all games that are not bullet or bughouse.

The Event window or the "events" command usually lists the top few games,
along with other goings-on, so if you're just looking for a high-level
game to observe, especially one that other people might be watching
and whispering about, that's a good place to look.
