***** IBCO ***** INTERNET BULLET CHESS ORGANIZATION The IBCO is a bullet-chess organization for tournaments. This was created by Superman30 at 2000 and is now managed by TRADE. MakeLotsOfMoney also helped us in a period of some months. The IBCO was and still is the first Organization on ICC to run his tournaments on Tomato Bots. Our tournaments are at most rated, with any bullet time control. We use 1 0 ,0 1, 2 1 and 2 0 as Main TC's. We are now sponsored by MrBirdBrain and CHESSTODAY.net. ******** RULES ********* 1.Joining IBCO 1.1.Who can join IBCO ? First of all, you must be registered here, at the Internet Chess Club(ICC). That means you must have a username. If you still aren't registered and want to get a username, type "register". (C)omputers or computer-assisted players aren't allowed to join IBCO. 1.2.How to be a member Meeting the requirements above, you just need to send a message to the "IBCO" account here, or an e-mail to "ibco_on_icc@hotmail.com", telling your e-mail and from wich country you are. For example : "mess IBCO I want to join IBCO, my e-mail is ... and I am from USA". After it, you will receive a confirmation message saying you joined us. And then, you must also join our group, in order to receive messages about news, tournaments, etc . Do that by typing "g-join IBCO". We need to know from where you are and your e-mail, to keep that information to send news, prize notifications, etc.. So, PLEASE, who still did not gave his country / e-mail, tell us by message or by e-mail. Thanks. 1.3.Joining Confirmation To make things easier for all of us , we introducted the "joining confirmation. What's that? Formerly , when you join an IBCO tourn, you were putted directly at the members list. That caused problems, because people didn't know what they were doing when joining the tournament. This new idea, created on October , consist of : When a player joins a tourn , he will get a tell and a message, with basics information about us, and saying that he will become a member ONLY if he answers that message confirming he wants to (as described in article 1.2). 1.4.Joining fee Actually, there is no need to pay anything to join IBCO, so it's totally free. 1.5.Privileges of being a member Being an IBCO member, you get the right to play in our weekly tournaments (they may have prizes), and also to have your own IBCO Rating(that has nothing to do with ICC's). 1.6.How to be a collaborator In order to be a collaborator, just help us : * divulging IBCO, putting a link to http://ibco.ownsthis.com on your ICC finger. * divulging IBCO, putting a link to http://ibco.ownsthis.com on your Web Site. * giving productive ideas on how to improve this Organization. * giving productive ideas on how to improve this Website. 1.7.How to be an Official IBCO Manager If you want to be an Official IBCO manager, to run our scheduled tournaments, just contact the IBCO account about it by ICC message or by ibco_on_icc@hotmail.com.
