The ICC's goal regarding advertising is to not harass or bother our
members with unwanted advertising.  Therefore, all advertising must
be chess related, and all advertising text other than finger notes must
be reviewed and approved by the ICC.  ICC reserves the right to refuse
advertising to anyone for any reason, and to place strict limits on the
amount of advertising on ICC.

ICC members may shout/sshout to announce local tournaments or chess events,
but not more than once per day, and only with shouts of 3 lines or less.
We do not allow any shouts or channel tells announcing events on other
chess servers.

We do not allow shouting, s-shouting or channel tells of any advertising
for lessons or products for sale, by people who are not official ICC
vendors.  Vendors, please limit your shouts and channel tells announcing
your services to 4 of each per day.  We do not allow sending advertising
messages to large numbers of ICC members.  Our advertising policy and
rates allow for approved news items, help files, and messages to ICC
members.  Please do not issue unapproved advertising.
