if you follow the cutting edge of Chess theory or revel in sharp tactics, just check out my Liblist
I have made many contributions to opening theory over the years, notably the Papko counter attack in the Kings Gambit
"Papko's Immortal" is number 21 in the liblist.
If You consider yourself a tactical genius have a look at game 47 on my liblist,
In 1990 when I was 25, Chess became by main hobby, I used to buy all the books , wish i had read them more ;-)
My favourite player is Ivanchuck, most notably when he beat the two K's and won Linares in 1991
My favourite game of all time is Ivanchuck- Kasparov Linares 1991.
Ivanchuck- Yusupov is a great game, and beloved by ICC, it always reminds me of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 , I know who wins every time , just want the charge of the Old Guard to succeed
After years of research, I realise that I play best when I am stressed, focussed and feeling mean
just can't keep it up ;-)
