Does no one on ICC ever just lose because they make a mistake or two? (In this case, hanging his queen?)
If it's impossible for the lower-rated ever to win, why play the game? (The game in question is %5 in my library. Take a look, and you'll see plenty of blunders on both sides.)
Years ago, playing blitz over the board, I beat a USCF 2400 who is now an IM. Of course he beat me the other ten or twelve games we played. But when he lost, he neither made excuses nor insulted me. He smiled graciously and shook my hand and said "Nice game." I miss those days.
giomu says: fybfr (I am not sure what this means but I do not think he was saying "Good game.")
(PPS -- OTB, I'm a lot higher than here, so I should be able to steal one now and then.)
Meanwhile, let's see if I can get some of these rating points back ...
I play from my workspace, so often can only play 1 or 2 games at a time: sorry.
