*****Some Tips on Wild which you may or may not agree with*****
Always attack, and do not defend! But do not sacrifice. Let your pieces take up threatening positions. This is helped if you get a quick start out of the blocks - aim to develop as quick as possible. Emulate the opening which you hate being played against you. A cheap trick or two won't go amiss.
A tip during quick games: Do not think too much for a forced win - 10 seconds is plenty - just keep moving. Don't panic! Chances are both of you are equally in the dark, so don't fall behind in time! On the other hand, don't allow easy wins.
This means: in normal chess-like games, don't get forked/pinned/mated; in w5, knight mates or an overload of queens; in w18, make sure your queens are sufficiently guarded; in w25, free checks/sacrifices which can expose your king; in w27, rampaging heavies/too crowded around the king
in w17/26, beware your rampaging heavies but more commonly bishops on the long diagonal (that's why c3/c6 is usually good)! Avoid back rank mates! It is usually safe to push pawns though to confuse the issue - eat lots and learn how to win when opponent just has one pawn backwards! esp k&r&p vs k&p.
