Hello everyone, I am Teddy from Lawton, OK. I am an old man and hope to retire soon. I just got a BBA in 2008 and I have completed the classroom part of my MBA degree. I have to take comps in January.
When I play chess I believe in the rules: no takeback even with mouse slips, no more time, and so on.
I am a student of IM Yelena Dembo. I started playing during the "Fischer explosion" in 1972. A lot of hit an miss through the years. Yelena's guidance has help a lot during the last few years in which she has been tutoring me.
Sometimes I can makes some really great moves and win. Sometimes I can make some really dumb moves and lose. I can get on winning streaks and I can get on losing streaks.
Win or lose I am going to get a professional opinion of our game. Win or lose I will keep on going to play more chess and you will never hear me complain. If you lose and feel like you need to whine to the TD or someone else about me beating you, please feel free to do so.
In the end this is not about rating points, it is about playing chess. Rating points are just a psychological nemesis.
If we should be playing and I suddenly disappear, rest assured I have not quit our game. I just do not dissappear intentionally whether losing or winning. Living in West Oklahoma we have been known to have power glitches. Also computers do lock up. Both have occured while I have been playing online.
If I am playing a game or in the middle of a lesson, please don't attempt to start a conversation with me as I am a really nice person but in these instances I will ignore you.
