Officially retired from OTB chess in July 1999.
Officially retired from online standard tournament chess October 26,2012.
Quitting chess is difficult. The longer you play, the harder quitting becomes.
Finding meaningful employment certainly can be of assistance in retirement from chess. ( May 28,2013 )
June 15,2023 I had a stroke, Slowed me down a lot. Recovering nicely.
Looks like I have kidney troubles. Gotta drink more water, less coffee. I don't want to die like Tal or Fischer ( kidney disease )
