Team 45 45 League: Results and New Tournament Sign-up

Tournament #25, just concluded, had 293 players on 62 teams.

Congratulations to our T25 champions! The teams and the rosters can
be seen center page on our website at http://www.teamchess.org

Get in on the action for Tournament #26! Team Sign-up period is
February 22 to March 8, 2005. Teams may be entered by a team's
captain at http://teamchess.org/captains/

The team score counts: You play on a team of 4-6 players, with any 4
members playing each week. But if you don't have a team, you can join
as an individual and we will help you find one.

This is a Slow Time Control league: Play one game with a time control
of 45 45 each week for six weeks beginning March 15, 2005, followed by
up to three weeks of playoffs, ending about May 24. NM Dan Heisman
(PhillyTutor on ICC) recommends long time controls for improving one's
chess, such as the time controls in the Team 45 45 League.

Sign up now! Before any players, new or returning, can be on a team,
they must sign up or update their profiles at http://teamchess.org/players/
Please sign up only if you are available to play for the six weeks plus
playoffs. Players must have played a minimum of 20 rated standard games
to be eligible, and must have read the Player Handbook.

Prizes: Players on the winning team in each of the five sections
(Under 2200, Under 2000, Under 1800, Under 1600, and Under 1300) receive
one-month ICC membership extensions.

More information is available on ICC in help team4545 and
finger team4545. The web page for the League is: http://teamchess.org/
