Live Coverage of Dortmund Super GM events starts July 12!


The Chessclub.com broadcast team will be showing games from the
Dortmund Super-GM Tournament July 12-22.  The event is a 6-player,
double round robin with a rest day on July 17.  Rounds 1-9 start 8am
ICC time.  Round 10 starts 6am ICC time

The players are Kramnik (Russia 2802), Anand (India 2794),
Morozevich (Russia 2749), Adams (England 2744), Leko (Hungary 2730),
and Topalov (Bulgaria 2711).

There are two other events also:

WGM Almira Skripchenko-Lautier(Moldova 2494) - IM Arkadij
Naiditsch(Germany 2524)(15 years old) 10 game match.  Same schedule
as the super GM games.

GM Huebner(Germany 2612) - Fritz(Computer) 6-game match starts
July 15.

Chessclub.com members are welcome to "observe" the games and
"whisper" comments with the other spectators. finger Dortmund2001
on Chessclub.com will give you specific information about the game
numbers to observe and the current standings.  The games will also
be listed in the Event List in Blitzin, where you can click on the
icon to watch while they are in progress.

The games will be stored in "liblist Dortmund2001".  Check out
help Cool-Libs for a listing of all the libraries of top
tournaments, matches and players.  As always, you can get live help
on Chessclub.com in the help channel: "tell 1 I want to know ...".
