ICC 3 0 Championship starts November 28! Open to all.

The ICC/Tomato team of managers is hosting the ICC 3 0 Championship
starting on November 28.  The ICC 3 0 Championship will be held in
three stages (Qualifiers, Candidates, and Finals).  The first stage
is open to all ICC members.  Stage 2 and 3 are open to those who
qualify from preceding stages.  Free-trial members are invited to
participate in first stage but may not play in later stages without
joining the ICC.

The first stage will consist of 12 Qualifier events (10 round 3 0
Swisses) during the week of November 28-December 4.  These
Qualifiers are open to all ICC members and will be held on LittlePer
in channel 225 (except for the Thursday 1am Qualifier which will be
held on Cooly in channel 224).  The top three finishers in each event
plus the top six series scorers (the Qualifiers are tracked as a series)
will earn invitations to the Candidates Stage.  Alternate spots will be
given to those who just miss out on qualifying.  The schedule of
Qualifiers is as follows (all times are server time or EST.  To see
server time on the ICC, type "date")

SUN (Nov 28):  5am        8pm
MON (Nov 29):        3pm
TUE (Nov 30):        3pm  8pm
WED (Dec. 1):             9pm
THU (Dec. 2):  1am   3pm
FRI (Dec. 3):             6pm
SAT (Dec. 4):  5am   2pm  5pm

Anyone can participate in the Qualifiers.  No pre-registration is
required.  To participate in a Qualifier tourney, just show up in
channel 225 shortly before the start of the event and type "tell
LittlePer join !" when the tourney is open.  For the Qualifier on
Thursday at 1pm, be present in channel 224 and type "tell Cooly join !"
when the tourney is open.  For general information about Tomato

The two Candidates events will be held at 10am on Saturday, December
10 and 2pm on Sunday, December 11.  Just like the Qualifier events,
they will be 10 round 3 0 swisses.  These Candidates events will be
only open to those who qualified from Stage 1 and alternates for
missing Candidates.  Candidates are required to be present and
available to play 15 minutes prior to the start of the event or their
spots will be forfeited to Alternates.

The top six finishers in each Candidates earn invitations to the Finals,
which will be held 2pm on Sunday, December 28.  The format of the
Finals is a 12 player single Round Robin.

All those who earn invitations or alternates spots to Stage 2 and
Stage 3 will receive futher instructions and details via message.
