The internet is imperfect, and so are chess players. It is inevitable, therefore, that when many chessplayers congregate on a server via the internet there will be problems between people and with technology that require resolution. Rest assured, if you have run into a problem, countless others have run into something similar, and there is usually a solution or some recourse.
