I have been away for a long time and am getting back into the game again. Before I pick up a monthly here:

1) I see the 90/30 tournaments are gone but the T45/45 league is still entact? I was banned from T4545 for missed games years ago (got sick) so I’m sure the ban is up by now. I’d like to get into these again. Where do I start?

2) I see you have the 45+45 league and now 60/0 standard monthly’s. In general, if I put up seeks for games w/ time controls like these, will I get hits? I’m looking to play more longer games and get more serious about chess.

Thanks!

Hi

Sorry I didn’t see your post earlier.  Yes, Team 4545 is still going and has a new tourney starting soon.
Go to: http://team4545league.org/ for more information

You can also play in the Longest Running Standard Tourney on the Web “ICC Standard Tourney”.  Check out ICC Standard Tourneys on Tuesdays. They are 4-Round 60.0 Swiss with 1 round played each week at 2pm, 8pm, and 11pm.  The tourneys have “Open” and “U1500” sections with 1st Place and Class Prizes. Please see: https://www.chessclub.com/help/STtourney  and/or “finger STTourney”

Are these longer games USCF rated or are they ICC affiliated only? Would be interested in playing either way.

Hi, the 60.0 Tourney is an ICC Rated Prize event that runs 1 round per week (4 per month) on Tuesdays at 2pm, 8pm, and 11pm.  It is not a USCF rated tourney but ICC does run several USCF Rated events ( https://www.chessclub.com/USChess )

Join any or all of these Fun Tourneys!  grin

If you have any questions please let me know.
