Hi ,
I am new member to ICC I would like to ask about some points , First I don’t understand the rating system here does each time control has it’s own rating 3 mins separated from 5 mins separated from Blitz ? and if so then how blitz rating is counted .

Second , I would like to understand clearly the conditions to join the ICC open Blitz 2016 tommorow and do I have to participate from the first dat or not .
And on what format do I have to play 100 games before the tournament ?

Thanks in advance

Hi amrspecialist.

In ICC there are several different rating categories. the main ones are Bullet, Blitz and Standard. then there are the pools (pure rating): 3-minute, 5-minute, 15 minute, etc. Each of these has its own rating. The difference between Blitz and 5-minute, for example, is that in the 5-minute pool you cannot choose your opponent, and no games vs. Computers are possible in the pool. to play a Blitz game, the easiest way it to post a seek, and wait for an opponent to challenge you.

You can play any or all of the qualifiers in the ICC Open. you need to have played 100 games in the Blitz category.
Be aware that FREE TRIAL accounts are not allowed to participate, therefore you’ll need a paid account.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Lyon
