I think this suggestion is a stunning idea : ICC players would be able to submit to a jury(for example 4 GMs from the ICC team) a game that they have played and which they think is a great game.
This game would then be published and promoted on the ICC website, with analysis both in PGN and in video format(YouTube possibly)
Of course, there would be a prize for both players of the game that is to be determined (free months, etc.)

Let’s just hope that players would be fair enough not to play pre-arranged beautiful games in order to win the prize hehe wink

What do you think of this idea ?

It is a nice idea!
However, this would take some serious organization. My guess is that we would get overwhelmed by requests to analyze games, and the 4 GMs would find themselves into a full-time job to choose the best game of the month grin Also, as you rightly point out, it would not be easy to spot “rigged” games, played with the sole purpose to win the prize.
Anyway, we will consider your idea, as it’s really interesting.
Thanks!

An improved version would be the following one:

1) Players would be able to submit a limited number of games by months to one titled player from the ICC staff whom would be a different one each month. Players will have to join some analysis and comments about the game(s) provided.

2) Then the titled player makes a selection of let’s say 4 games

3) A vote is organized between the whole ICC community to determine the most interesting game.

4) And then the game is promoted by the ICC, both players of the chosen game get a reward, as well as a randomly drawed handle between the voters.
