Jesus Christ does not give you the option of believing he was just another good man. He said, "I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life [e odos kai e aletheia kai e zoe]. No man comes to the Father, except through me."
He also said, "Before Abraham was, I AM", thereby claiming to be the eternal and only God Jehovah
So either he thought he was God and was deceived, and was therefore a lunatic, and not good; or he knew he wasn't God, and was a liar; or he was Jehovah, as he claimed.
