I live in Denver, Colorado, USA. I have never actually been to Latvia, but my grandfather was born there. Therefore "Latvia" is in my blood even though I don't speak Latvian either. Many top Grand Masters are from Latvia.
I feel that chess is only just for fun... and for BLOOD!!!
After every game that I win I feed myself a Scooby Snack.
After every game that I lose I light my head on fire and put the fire out with a sledgehammer.
It is said that Albert Einstein felt that chess was an unproductive waste of time. It sure would have been great to have whipped him a couple of games though.
