JULY 24: CCA July Rapid
5-SS, G/15+5, at Internet Chess Club. $2000 guaranteed prizes. In 3 sections. Open Section: Open to all. $300-150-100-50, top USCF U2100 $160-80. Under 1900/Unr Section: $240-120-60, top U1700 (no unr) $140-70. Under 1500/Unr Section: $200-100-50, unrated maximum $100, top U1300 (no unr) $120-60.  Entry fee at chessaction.com: $32 by 7/23, $50 by 7/22, no entry after 7/23. GMs $40 from prize. Log into play.chessclub.com/cca 30 minutes before game; first round 7/24 5 pm EDT, 4 pm CDT, 3 pm MDT, 2 pm PDT. Other rounds every hour on the hour; should finish by 10 pm EDT. One or two half point byes available, must be claimed with registration. Online Quick rated (will not affect regular OTB ratings), but regular OTB ratings used for pairings & prizes. $15 service charge for refunds. JULY 25-26: CCA July Open
7-SS, G/60+10, at Internet Chess Club. $4000 guaranteed prizes. In 3 sections. Major Section: Open to 1900/above. $600-400-300-200, top USCF U2200 $240-120. Under 2000 Section: $400-200-120-70, top U1800/Unr $200-100. Under 1600 Section: $300-150-100-50, top U1400 (no unr) $160-80, top U1200 (no unr) $140-70.  Entry fee at chessaction.com: $47 by 7/23, $70 by 6 pm EDT 7/24, no entry after  6 pm EDT 7/24. GMs $40 from prize. Log into play.chessclub.com/cca 30 minutes before game; 4 games Saturday, 3 Sunday. Rounds begin Saturday 11, 2, 5 & 8 EDT. 10, 1, 4 & 7 CDT, 9, 12, 3 & 6 MDT, 8, 11, 2 & 5 PDT; Sunday 11, 2 & 5 EDT, 10, 1 & 4 CDT, 9, 12 & 3 MDT, 8, 11 & 2 PDT. • "FAIR PLAY" ANALYSIS
  All games played in USCF rated tournaments will be analyzed using ICC's sophisticated anti-cheating tools. Such analysis will include, but not be limited to, comparing moves played to the recommendations of various engines. Players suspected of violating the Fair Play rules may: 1) have their results and any prize eligibility canceled, 2) be banned from future play on ICC, 3) be banned from future Continental Chess tournaments both online and over the board, and 4) be reported to the USCF Ethics Committee, leading to possible suspension of USCF membership.

  After each tournament, results will not be final for about a week (up to two weeks for the World Open) while ICC fair play analysis of all games takes place. If any players are disqualified, opponents' results will be changed: those who lost to the ejected player will be given half point byes, while those who drew with the ejected player will obtain forfeit wins.

WHAT TO DO AFTER REGISTRATION:

1) At chessaction.com, go to the row for the tournament and click on "entry list" to make sure you are listed. If not, notify us at director@chess.us.

2) If you are a current ICC members with a user name linked to your USCF ID number (like those who have played in our online tournaments), you are all set. If not, go to register.chessclub.com/cca to register with ICC. If you are unable to register, contact director@chess.us.

3) Read the rules posted HERE.

4) Log into Zoom HERE..

5) 30 minutes before play begins, log into play.chessclub.com/cca, wait for any messages, and wait for your pairing to pop up when play is about to begin. DO NOT LOG OFF or you may not be paired.
