Seek Graph Tab |
The graph is a grid where the height of an ad indicates the rating of the person seeking the game, and the distance to the right indicates the approximate length of the game. The two horizontal lines represent ratings of 1000 and 2000, and the two vertical lines represent the cutoffs between bullet/blitz/standard.
Each colored dot represents an offer to play a game. The color of each dot tells you the kind of game is being offered:
Regular chess
Loser's chess (info)
Giveaway chess (info)
Crazyhouse chess (info)
Atomic chess (info)
Other wild variants (info)
The shapes and shades of each dot tells you the type of player offering:
Human player
Human FIDE titled player (info)
Computer player (info)
Rated game
Unrated game
However, this is just to give you a quick indication, when you see a dot that interests you, simply move the mouse over it. A small tooltip will show you the details of that offer, i.e. who is offering it, their rating, the exact time control, the type of chess, etc.
Clicking on a seek ad accepts the offer. If that seek ad does not have the manual flag on it, the game will begin immediately. If it *does* have the manual flag, a challenge matching the seek ad is issued for you automatically which the seeker can then accept.
