There are many different types of chess you can play on ICC!

Rating pools The Pure rating pools are the most accurate online ratings available because in each group, everyone plays exactly the same time control and players have no control over the pairings. There are three categories of Pure ratings

    1-minute 1-minute

There are also 3 categories of normal chess, and each allows you to customize how long a game lasts, if you want more variety.

On ICC, you also have the option of playing:

     Simultaneous Exhibitions
     Correspondence chess

You can also train with specialized robots to improve your chess:

Last, but not least, there are many other versions of chess which use alternate rules, called wild chess. Some of the more popular variants are described below.

      Bughouse - Also known as Siamese chess
      Crazyhouse - Similar to Bughouse, but with only two players.
