Changing Users

Dasher supports multiple users so that each player who connects to ICC from the same computer can customize the software without needing to constantly rearrange the windows, boards, pieces, colors etc. after another player uses the software.

It's convenient to create multiple users if you need to rearrange the windows in Dasher for different activities. By creating a new user profile, you can switch between users for the perfect setup for each activity.

While offline, select Change User from the Login menu to bring up the following dialog:

Here, you will choose a user profile from the drop-down list, or you can create a new profile for a different user or a new activity. To create additional profiles, simply type in a new profile name where you currently see Default.

To use multiple user profiles, you'll need to uncheck the option to Automatically connect on startup so you can choose which profile to use:
