Your Censor list

The Censor command gives you the possibility of blocking someone. A player on your censor list will not be able to communicate or match you and you will not see tells, says, whispers, kibitzes, shouts, sshouts, channel tells or messages from the player.

To add, remove or view your censor list, you will type one of these commands in your main console:

       +censor handle
       -censor handle
       =censor

If you feel someone's behavior seriously violates ICC's atmosphere policy, please report the abuse.

Please do NOT shout insults at the person or engage them in profanity. Other ICC members are not interested in listening to personal fights.

Note:Your Censor list is unlimited, which means that you can censor as many as you would like. You can also view the handles on your censor list by typing =censor in the console.
Note: The censor command has no effect when you are playing a game in a Tournament or in the 1-minute and 5-minute pools.

Example

Let's say the handle "fpawn" insults you in private tells. To block this, you would go to your Main Console and type +censor fpawn .

From now on, the verbal abuser, fpawn, would get this message on his console every time he tries to make contact with you: Not sent - {your handle} is censoring you.

If you later decide to remove fpawn from your censor list, type -censor fpawn to allow him to communicate with you again. However, keep in mind that anyone is free to censor anyone for whatever reason they like, and sometimes no reason at all, and they are not obligated to remove you from their censor list, ever. Please do not ask administrators or other players to relay tells to someone who has put you on their censor list.
