GM Lars Bo Hansen recaps Round 9. An amazing round, which has revolutionized the standings! The two leaders, Caruana and Gelfand, lost to Grischuk and Mamedyarov respectively; Nakamura won his game against Kasimdzhanov. Now there is a 6-way tie for first: Caruana, Gelfand, Nakamura, Karjakin, Radjabov and Svidler. The six leaders are followed by Kasimdzhanov and Tomashevsky, half a point behind. The last two rounds promise to be quite a thrill!
