NEWS 135 (21-Jun-95)  ***** ICC GRANDMASTER-COMPUTER CHALLENGE *****
The Internet Chess Club announces a $300 (US) prize to the first Grandmaster
who can beat WCHESS by a score of 2-0 in a 2-game, Game/30 minutes, match!
Everyone is invited to watch each match, whether registered or unregistered
on the Internet Chess Club. Matches will be held until a Grandmaster
succeeds in winning a 2-game match by a score of 2-0. WCHESS is the ICC
handle of the Wchess program running on a 100 MHz Pentium.
To qualify, the match should be:
-- played on ICC between the hours of 3pm and 11pm EDT.
-- scheduled 5 days ahead so it can be announced for spectators.
-- played at least 5 days after the most recent match.
All Grandmasters are invited to schedule a match to attempt to win the prize.

Grandmaster Ronen HarZvi of Israel will attempt to win the $300 prize!
All spectators are welcome!
GM HarZvi made his 3rd GM norm this year at the age of 18. He was World
Under-16 Champion in 1992. He has won the Biel Open Blitz. Second place
in Biel 30-minute tournament. He recently scored 7 out of 11 in the PCA
Qualifier, beating GMs Benjamin, Rohde, Christiansen, Svidler and Psakhis.
