KASPAROV versus KRAMNIK Blitz Contest on the ICC!

World #1 Garry Kasparov (2815 FIDE) and #3 ranked Vladimir Kramnik
(2780 FIDE) will play a special 24-game blitz chess match in
Moscow on November 27 and 28.  The two Super-Grandmasters will play
12 games each day, beginning at noon EST (5pm GMT).  The prize fund
is $24,000, and will be awarded as $1000 per win, and $500 per draw.
This should promote fighting chess!

The Kosmos Hotel in Moscow is sponsoring the event, and the ICC has
been selected as the exclusive live broadcast medium for the event.

The event will be transmitted live to ICC members holding tickets for
the event.  Observers on the ICC will be able to watch the games, chat
with the other observers, and see the commentary of Grandmasters and
other strong players.  World Champion Kasparov's comments before and
after the match will be relayed to the ICC spectators.

This is the first pay-per-view event on the ICC.  None of the money
from the ticket sales goes to the ICC.  All proceeds go to the event
organizers to pay for the prize fund.  (The organizers have offered
complimentary tickets to Grandmasters).

Instructions for ICC members to purchase tickets:

 * Purchase chekels with a credit card on ICC by typing "c-buy",
   or purchase them by sending a check or money order to the ICC

   Chekels are $1 each.

 * Use 16 of your chekels to get a ticket to watch the 24-game, 2-day
   match (and Kasparov live interviews) by typing on ICC:

   These special discounted two-day tickets will only be available
   BEFORE the match begins.

 * If you can attend only one day, you can purchase a 10-chekel ticket
   for either day by typing on ICC:

To watch the match on November 27 and 28, login to the ICC before the
noon EST start and type "follow Kasparov".  Don't miss the strongest
