Changes in Installer (March 19, 2009)

• Updated three sounds to be more compatible with some Vista drivers
• Updated certificates to prevent security warnings

Changes in the 2.7.0 Build (since 2.6.2)

• Changes for pstat, including support of pstat variable, adding it to Options:Set Variables, and nicer output

• Changes for Vista to ensure appropriate privileges for what BlitzIn needs to do

Fixes for problems in 2.34

• Removed close box on the "Promote to" dialog, since clicking it did not cancel the promotion as one might expect.

Fixes for problems only in 2.5

• Fixed crash that occurred on some systems (such as Windows2000 SP4) when trying to use a different language than English
• Fixed a bug that could cause:
  • a blank wild menu in the Match and Seek dialogs
  • an empty wild name in the Seek Graph window or the you've-been-challenged dialog
  • a can't-interpret message in the console after seeking using the Seek dialog
• If you seek a game specifying a rating range you don't fall into, shows the seek dot in gray
• Show FAQ database within the Info Window
• Improved internal clean-up on exit

Updated Language Pack

• Improvements to Dutch, Russian, French, Portuguese translations. Removed Italian

• Foreign language support
  • New "Language..." menu under options for switching language
  • Uses language DLLs (installed separately): Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch
  • Remembers previous language used.
  • Launch with Shift key down also invokes language selection dialog
  • /language=<arg> command line option. (Pass the DLL name, or nothing for English, or ? for prompt.)

Fixes for problems in 2.34

• Fixed: If closed some windows, then did Close Connection, then opened a new connection, the windows that you wanted closed would re-open.
• Fixed using scrollbar to scroll through w22 games with castling moves where the King started on the e-file and the rook started on the King's destination square.

Fixes for problems only in 2.5

• Fixed for memory and resource leaks. These problems could cause display problems such as disappearing pieces in Windows98
  
• Eliminated flashes of game and console windows on login
• Fixed: Exits when click Sign In and BlitzIn can't find chess server
• Remove right-click menu when nothing selected in console
• Seek graph window wasn't immediately changing when sfilter or rating changed
• Cosmetic improvements to the challenge dialog such as making text fit better
• Hyperlinked "+noplay foo" in console but would issue the incorrect command if clicked on.
• Fixed crash when click on "Reconnect" link when you weren't previously connected
• Fixed in some cases: If you have Russian selected for "Language for non-Unicode programs" in the Advanced tab of Windows' "Regional and Language Options" control panel, the font would change in the console following a hyperlink at the end of a line.
  
• When setting finger notes if no deletions, just sends changed lines
  
• When setting finger notes if no changes, hitting OK will never change the notes
