This help file explains the different options you can give to the
"who" command.
--- Options that select who to display are:
a - (available) lists players available for games (o&f)
c20 - lists people who are in channel 20
H - humans
C - computers
D - lists players who have shout=1
f - (free) lists players who are not playing games
g5 - lists people who are playing or observing game 5
o - (open) lists players who are open for games
r - (rated) lists players with their rated flags set
(i.e. those willing to play rated games)
R - (registered) lists players who are registered
S - lists players who have sshout=1
T - titled players (GM, IM, FM, WGM, or WIM)
U - (unregistered) lists anonymous players and guests
* - admins who have their "*" turned on currently
& - can used with a group name e.g. &Vendor
--- flags that select which portion of the list of players to display are:
1 - lists top 1/3 of the players logged in
2 - lists middle 1/3 of the players logged in
3 - lists bottom 1/3 of the players logged in
If two digits are given, then the second digit is the denominator in
the above fraction. I.e. "27" shows the 2nd from the best seventh of
the players selected.
Also, a rating range may be specified, e.g. "1400-1600".
Specifying a rating range implies that you want registered
players only, and also only shows players whose rating
is active (unless the ! or @ flag is specified) and
established (unless the ! flag is specified).
--- flags that list players in different formats are:
n - (win-loss) lists win-loss record for players
t - (terse) lists players in columns [default]
("^" means playing, ":" means not open, "." means idle for > 5 min,
"#" means examining a game.)
v - (verbose) lists in the format shown above
--- flags that adjust the order of the players displayed are:
b - (blitz) use the blitz rating for sorting.
B - (bullet) use the bullet rating for sorting.
d - (bughouse) use the bughouse rating for sorting.
L - (loser's) use the loser's chess rating for sorting.
s - (standard) Use the standard rating for sorting.
w - (wild) use the wild rating for sorting.
z - (crazyhouse) use the crazyhouse (wild 23) rating for sorting.
O - (1-minute) use the 1-minute rating for sorting.
M - (3-minute) use the 3-minute rating for sorting.
K - (chess960) use the 3 1 chess960 pool rating for sorting.
F - (5-minute) use the 5-minute rating for sorting.
N - (15-minute) use the 15-minute rating for sorting.
J - (45-minute) use the 45-minute rating for sorting.
! - Sort by ratings only, ignoring the active/inactive and
provisional/established status of the rating.
@ - Consider the provisional status, but not the active status.
