This command shows you the personal information about your account,
including the data you gave when you registered. You cannot use
this command to see anyone else's data, only your own. It includes
some data that used to be shown by the "finger" command, but now
the "finger" command shows to you only the same data that it would
show to another user who does "finger <your-username>".
Here is some of the information shown by the personal-info command:
ADDRESS: The player's email address. Your address can ONLY be seen by
you or an administrator, unless you do "set addresspublic 1". Then it
will be visible to everyone. If your address is wrong, please message
an administrator. The email is used anytime you mail a game or help
file to yourself. See also: help email.
TIME STATISTICS: The accumulated hours is your total login time on
ICC since Aug 14, 1994. The "% life on ICC" is the percentage of
time that you have spent logged onto ICC. For example, if you spend
6 hours a day on ICC on average since your first login, your "% life"
would be 25%.
EXPIRATION DATE: The date your ICC membership expires. Use the
"extend" command to pay a membership fee. Also, read help FreeMonths
to see how to extend your membership two months for each new member you
get to sign up.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Most or all of the information you gave when you
registered on ICC is listed in your personal-info. You can change all
of these except the realname, email, namepublic and uscfid online using
the "set" command. For example, you could type "set telephone 1-201-555-5555".
If you need to change the real name, email, namepublic or uscfid, contact
an administrator. Here is a partial list of registration info you can see
in the personal-info command. Some of these correspond to the questions
asked on the registration form at
http://www.chessclub.com/tryicc/register/ .
