The ICC's professional staff provides live online help, adjudication of abandoned games, and an active computer-detection team to ensure you won't have to play against computer-cheaters.
Every Thursday at 4pm server time, play in the BCC! The tournament
consists of a 9-round swiss with a time control of 1 0, with the
winner advancing to a championship series against the previous
week's champion. Win the series and become the new champion!
The tournament is free to enter and open to all ratings. To join the
tournament, type "tell Flash join". Log on to ICC at least 10 minutes
beforehand to ensure your spot in the tournament before it starts.
Immediately after the qualifier tournament, the winner challenges the
previous week's champion in a series of 1 0 playoff games. The champion
will start round one as white. Whoever reaches 4.0 points first wins the
challenge and becomes the week's champion.
In the unlikely event where both players reach 4.0 at the same time, the
previous week's champion retains his title. The manager might need to run
an extra round where no games are played but a 1 point bye is given to the
champion and 0 point bye to the challenger when tiebreaks give the win to
challenger.
The challenge will take place in the Flash bot with
colors alternating every round.
If the current champion does not show up for challenge series, first and
second place from the qualifier play each other in the challenge series.
First place gets white in round 1 and wins the series on a 4.0 tie. This
scenario also applies to the first series of the year when there is no
current champion.
If, for some reason, the challenger cannot play the series, then the
third place finisher will participate (or fourth if third place cannot
play, etc.)
If the current champion plays and wins the qualifier tourney, the runner
up plays the challenge series.
PRIZES:
Every week, the winner of the challenge series wins 7 days of free
membership! In addition, the following bonuses will be awarded at the end
of the year (the series runs from October 2010 till December 2011) for the players

Miscellaneous:
All policies in help agreement apply: computer assistance, human
assistance and account sharing are STRICTLY forbidden and will lead
to disqualification in the series, as well as further sanctions laid
out by ICC's Agreement and Policy rules.

to play in the playoff series.
