 1: pulsar program playing shatranj at a depth 2 search. operator Mike.

 2: running on a pentium, 2 gigahertz machine.
 3: i decide my move instantly but i am set to wait 2 seconds ( sleep time )
  before making my move so as not to move to rapidly.  if i get to 20 seconds
  or less i start moving instantly.  quality of play doesnt change i just stop
  sleeping after every search for 2 seconds.
 4: now also experimenting with playing crazyhouse at depth 3 ( moving
  instantly no sleep so far ) and extensions for check
 5: while the shatranj capable version is not yet available for download the
  crazyhouse version is. i'm using the program argument mxC-3 to handicap it
  and the crazybook argument to make it use its crazy white and black books
 6: the crazy white and black books each have a copy of bigbook.txt which comes
  with teh pular download
