THE SYSTEM Methodical thinking is of more use in chess than inspiration.
- Purdy
 1. (It's my turn to move) What are his threats? What are the consequences
of his move i.e. affected squares? His objectives?
 2. What are all the moves that I have to consider? (I am considering a

The fact that a player is very short of time is, to my mind, as little to

(If I do this what can he do?)
If you are too lazy to find the best move... Play blitz!!
Strategy requires thought, tactics require observation. -Max Euwe
 Vigilance
