I made my living with words, but I'm not particularly talkative when I play.

Under the circumstances, I don't give takebacks.
I am very interested in nature (including birding, boating, fishing, snorkeling), computers, photography and travel. Also, I am learning how to play blues guitar.
Other than chess, baseball and the NBA are my great interests. We have been to numerous Major League parks.
My wife and I celebrated our 49th anniversary in 2017
I am a moderate liberal who believes that the overall performance of the Bush Administration was awful. I also believe that the country made major strides in recovering from the Great Recession under President Obama.
As someone who has seen rising levels of Biscayne Bay alongside Miami for decades I know with certainty that we have a warming climate. In fact, there was only one day all year in 2016 that registered any temperature below 50 degrees F.
I find it hard to believe that the impulsive, erratic and egomaniacal ex- President Trump actually is admired by many conservatives. He cares only for power, money, lechery and ... maybe ... his own family. And he told the Big Lie. He did not win in 2020.
