Bilbao Grand Slam Final With GM Peter Svidler

Veselin Topalov and Magnus Carlsen have been the two stars enthralling the
large audience each day surrounding the sound-proofed air-conditioned glass
arena on Plaza Nueva at the Grand Slam Final in Bilbao, Spain.

With the new scoring system of 3-points for a win in play, Topalov leads with
9/15 after beating Magnus Carlsen and Vishy Anand in successive rounds!  But
just a point behind there lurks 17-year-old Norwegian ace Magnus Carlsen, who
on Friday deposed Anand as the new #1 in the unofficial virtual ratings.

We could be in for a dramatic final week at the Grand Slam Final - and ICC
