Chess21 Merges with the ICC

The Internet Chess Club is pleased to announce that we have
reached an agreement with Chess21 (Ajedrez21 in Spanish),
the premier online chess service in Spain and Latin America,
to move their membership onto ICC.

Former Chess21 members will register a handle on the ICC and
then visit www.chessclub.com/ajedrez21 to transfer their
Chess21 account.

Chess Education and Technology, former owner of Chess21,
will continue to provide Spanish-language chess lessons,
events, administrative assistance, and other support on ICC.

Members will be able to maintain their sense of community
through an ICC dedicated group and channel:

  Group name: ajedrez21
     Channel: 21
         URL: http://www.chessclub.com/groups/ajedrez21
