BlitzIn 2.5 Released

The next version of our most popular Windows chess client software,
BlitzIn 2.5, has been released.  It is available now for free from

Version 2.5 contains over 100 improvements including easy upgrading,
proxy server support, old version emulation, "Autochat", and six new
chess boards.  "Premove" is supported, allowing you to make obvious
moves quickly while cutting down on the hand stress of hovering
over squares.  An "Info Window" has been added to provide documentation
within the program, allow changes in personal settings without the
command line, display lessons in sync with an examined board, show
ICC news with active links to games, and present graphs of past
ratings performance.  The user interface has been updated and numerous
problems in version 2.34 have been fixed.  A detailed list of features

BlitzIn 2.5 runs on Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP.  Users of the
previous 2.5 beta versions can update "Check for Upgrade" from the
Help menu.
